  • eBook CollectionMEL Database

    General interest. Full text. Over 20,000 eBooks available on all topics. Michigan residents or Michigan library access only. Netlibrary users ALERT--the collection has changed its name to eBooks. This product is now owned by EBSCO. Along with the name change come access changes as well. Personal usernames and passwords will no longer work. Logging in from MeL.org remains the same.

  • Literature Resource CenterPDL Database

    This contains critical analysis and biographies of over 120,000 writers and their works of literature. This database contains large numbers of literary criticism articles and is extremely useful to the high school or college level student.

    General interest. Searchable database of Michigan authors and illustrators that provides biographical and contact information. Indicates whether person will do library presentations.

  • NovelistPDL Database

    NoveList provides access to full text reviews, recommendations, and information:publication information; subject searching (do you want to find books set in a particular place?); and more for more than 120,000 works of fiction.You can ask it to recommend similar titles and authors, provide guides for book discussions, and even tag and give your own opinion on books you've read through a connection to Goodreads.
