Resume Makeover, Nov 4, 11am-1pm

You have looked over some resume books, you have your resume together, and you don’t think you need a class—but it would be good to get somebody else’s opinion on this, particularly somebody knowledgeable. We can help! On the first Friday in February, take your lunch hour and come in. Bring your resume and we will look it over, especially with regard to proofreading, formatting, and language. Let us catch the errors, rather than a potential employer. Reviewers include representatives Michigan Works Employment Services; John Schmitt, Employment Counselor, Small Business and Technology Development Center; staff from the Career and Assessment Services department of Kalamazoo Valley Community College; Nicolette Sosulski, Business Librarian; and local business people. If you have questions about your interview attire, you also have the option of wearing or describing that for our review as well.
