Email Notification
If you haven’t tried it yet, now is a good time to start. You can help the library reduce costs and help the environment by signing up for email notification. Email addresses are kept as part of your confidential library record and cannot be sold or used for any purposes aside from notifying you of information that is critical to your account or use of Portage District Library services.
The benefits to you are:
• Notification of upcoming due dates, to avoid accruing fines.
• No charge for putting items on reserve.
• Quicker notification of the arrival of your reserves.
For security and confidentiality of records this service can only be activated in person at the Checkout Desk by providing your library card or driver’s license.
